We stayed in this hotel and the stay was very comfortable and sweet. The hotel has good breakfast and dinner service. The staff is very process oriented. Hotel staff is extremely nice.Carry your print of vouchers as they demanded me a hard copy. This hotel is about 20kms from main beaches. You will need a vehicle. All in all a value for money.

Trip was good, but not satisfied with hotel, this hotel needs a pest control service immediately HOTEL SOLMAR. hotel needs to improve with their food facilities also, leakage problems were also in passway. no food available after 2 pm.

The rooms were decent but the service was low grade and the food poor ....The reception staff needs a lot of grooming .Since food was included in our package so had to take the food at the hotel the menu for all 3 days was same veg food (no non veg !!!!) ....and absolutely no choice the hotel staff had a "either take it or leave attitude"
Also there are very less eateries nearby since the hotel is located in a mainly residential area. Miramar beach is nearby to the hotel ..but nothing special abt this beach basically a dull beach
The hotel has no childrens play area.
If you want to enjoy the real beauty of GOA i.e beaches,food and drinks , better avoid the hotel nothing special here.

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights with my family.Our experience with them was very much Pathetic.
Though the location and front rooms of the hotels are good the staff of the hotel, specially Housekeeping staff is very lethargic and always look at your face for tips.
This Hotel offers rooms with the breakfast and Dinner but i warn my fellow tourist don't fall for this trap, since the food quality is very very poor and if at all u book this hotel negotiate with them excluding the Breakfast & Dinner
Moreover there is construction work is going on in hotel's premises and my daughter was badly injured due to the construction materials kept on the way of hotel entrance. Due to this work there is no parking available in hotel premises.
The staff of this Hotel is so much careless that when we check-out only one bell boy brought our 7 piece of luggage up to car alone and nobody helped him, its height of unprofessional attitude of staff as well management

Checked in at 7:30 am and checked out at 8:30 am. I was supposed to have a deluxe room, but this was a deluxe room without any sense of it being a deluxe. It was a barebones functional room, wit a air conditioner that had a broken grill and that was very loud. naturally there was no visible method of controlling the draft (straight on the bed) or the thermostat. My deluxe room had the most oddly designed bathroom where everything in it was concentrated on one side and the other side was absolutely bare. No toilet paper, and when I asked I was sent paper napkins from the restaurant. Checkout had to be at 9am, on a Sunday morning and that was as a favour!I checked out and found a small hotel, Zuari View, 10 minutes drive away with a lovely bright and airy room with a balcony, a view of the bay for less than the price of the Solmar. And they gave us a bumper breakfast and a late check out!
