We stayed 2 Nights at Hotel Ravikiran in the end of the May'13. We had good time.
- even after paying 4 K per night you find small CRT television instead of LED/LCD panel. Its a big disappointment, along with very low range of Hindi / english channels.
- bathrooms and hot water facility was good, along with cleaning.
-Food - Good in taste, less range in breakfast.
- Bar / Restaurant - Not so classy.
- Pool nicely maintained. Pool timing is only till 7 PM, which is very specially when the hotel is not located nearby of any famous beach.
- Staff is courteous and room service is timely.
- If you wanna stay in Alibaug then it's one of the best staying option, but in case you wish to stay near Kashi / Nagaon or any other beach then it's very far.
overall experience is good, One can stay with family / friend / as couple etc.

Hotel is very Good . Nearby ST Stand Good Parking facility Good Staff .
One Small suggestion very few items in snacks like I ordered for idli but was told on weekdays we do not prepare south Indian Items.
This is area which thy have to improve and should also include breakfast in Room rent

We went for a leisure trip over the weekend. The hotel is located on the main road and all the local people,specially autowallas know it.The service is nice and staff is quite helpful. There is a pool as well, so one can have a relaxing time. It is located close to Alibaug and Versolli beached and the booking offices of PNP,Maladar are also located close by.

We found Positive feedback from internet and booked 2 rooms, we were 2 families. Rooms were spacious, neet. Restaurant was also good & affordable than the so called dhaba's
available on route. swimming pool was clean & lovely. we enjoyed a lot.
Only one concern i want to highlight is the high price they charging for a pool side room, its not that worth.

The Food is amazing and the prices are pretty reasonable.
The room services are very prompt.
But the room is pretty small and expensive compared to the pic shown on the website. The beach is pretty far.

The hotel is highly over priced for amount that it charges (INR 4, 500 per day per room with breakfast). I have been to other places in the country and
in this price you get much better services and rooms. It is a hotel with a pool and a small kid's play area and that's about it.
Some people might be impressed about its location, actually there is nothing great about it. If you are looking to spend your time only on Alibaug Beach (very dirty), then it can be an option. Otherwise look for something else. The front office is very average. And their credit card machine does not work. None of employees are professional and most of them do not know even Hindi.
The hotel building needs some repairs. Parking is highly inadequate and also felt that security is not adequate. The rooms are not very big and they do not provide anything except soap and shampoo. For less than 4, 500 you get a fridge, tea kettle, safe and much more. Their AC were not working properly (never heard about the brand they are using) and they take ages to clean the room after you tell them. The furniture is quite old. In-fact the layout of rooms is very odd.
Food at best is very average and they take almost an hour for room service during day time. Restaurant is again very odd and you do not get a good feeling eating their. They do not serve liquor in restaurant. For both days, they served south indian food in breakfast which was not at all eatable.
When we were checking out, I asked to prepare the bill and send someone to pick up the bags and comfortably nobody turned up. Even after seeing that we were carrying our bags, front desk did not ask somebody to help. The only good thing is the pool but again it is good for adults and not for kids and also lacks privacy.
Look for other option and keep this as the last.
