The reception and all personal met in Hotel Norge was very friendly and helpful. At arrival with the late Colour Line ferry there were a lot people in the streets
around in front of different pubs with quite a noise level but the room we were given on 6th floor facing the inside of the block turned out to be quiet. The beds are a little narrow but very comfortable. Nice interior of hotel and room give a nice homelike atmosphere. Breakfast at Dronningen is an experience which rounds up a very nice stay with a vast variety of norwegian and continental cold and warm food.
The fitness room (8th floor) has a phantastic view. At arrival the lights in the fitness room weren't working but the reception guy surprised us in the morning with the niews that he succeeded in fixing the problem.
Around the corner is Markensgata the shopping street of Kristiansand. Parking for a reasonable price is possible in a garage which is part of the hotel.
Hotel Norge is definitely the place to stay when we come back to Kristiansand.

Perfect hotel for a city- or businesstrip. Staff, comfort, rooms, breakfast, restaurant, overall service, there is nothing I can think of that wasn't very good or excellent. In one word, perfect. dDefinitely a place to recommend and hope to come back here as Kristiansand is a beautiful city.

The hotel has a great location right down town. Near the water and night life. The restaurant in the hotel was great they have a nice menu with many choices and the food is very good. Breakfast is complimentary and very good blend of Europe and American style food. The rooms are nice the only compliant I have is the elevators are so slow. It can also be a little loud on Saturday night because on the night club across the street.

Hotel Norge is a good and safe choice when staying in Kristiansand. Overall standard is high, with nice rooms and comfortable beds.I had a superior room which contained all what I needed, although I don`t care so much for soap and shampoo from dispensers, as was the case in my bathroom . Breakfast is very good, with a wide selection of fresh baked bread. The restaurant serves very tasty food for dinner as well. Location close to "Markens" pedestrian street, with a wide variety of shops and restaurants. Very nice and welcoming staff.

First time in Norway and I loved the minimalistic approach to rooms. There is everything you need and nothing you don't. I was surprised by a single bed but found it very comfortable. The minibar compensates absence of the bar in the hotel - prices are a lot higher than in the US but that's a reality of alcohol sales in Norway. Finally, the breakfast - very nice and tasty. But the main attraction - FRESH BREAD! Good place to stay on business trips, for sure.
