The reception and all personal met in Hotel Norge was very friendly and helpful. At arrival with the late Colour Line ferry there were a lot people in the streets
around in front of different pubs with quite a noise level but the room we were given on 6th floor facing the inside of the block turned out to be quiet. The beds are a little narrow but very comfortable. Nice interior of hotel and room give a nice homelike atmosphere. Breakfast at Dronningen is an experience which rounds up a very nice stay with a vast variety of norwegian and continental cold and warm food.
The fitness room (8th floor) has a phantastic view. At arrival the lights in the fitness room weren't working but the reception guy surprised us in the morning with the niews that he succeeded in fixing the problem.
Around the corner is Markensgata the shopping street of Kristiansand. Parking for a reasonable price is possible in a garage which is part of the hotel.
Hotel Norge is definitely the place to stay when we come back to Kristiansand.

This hotel is close to the ferry, bus & train terminal and even closer to the main shopping & restaurant area in Kristiansand. Our room was spacious and very
clean and the hotel & restaurant staff were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel restaurant was good and the breakfast buffet was quite diverse for the size of the hotel. The hotel also has a room with guest laundry (at a small cost) which was a blessing for us after almost 3 weeks in Norway (we only stayed two nights at one other hotel and spent over $100 to send out just a few pieces of clothing for cleaning. Charges for an extra bag on the airline may be cheaper if you plan to stay more than a week or so.)
Kristiansand itself was small, but the weather was beautiful the 2 days we were there and there was a beautiful walking/jogging path around the entire city. The hotel is also only about a 15 minute walk to a few small beaches, again, very beautiful on a sunny day.

This hotel is centrally situated in Kristiansand, a quick walk away from the fish docks, shopping or the Bystranda beach walk. Hallway and room seems to go quite a bit back in time but although notso much fashion it was nice and tidy. The breakfast experience was to die for, do not miss out! Bread fresh from the hotel's own bakery, home roasted granola, fresh squeezed pinapple juice, waffles, they had it all!

If you are going to Kristiansand, this is the hotel to stay. Location is perfect. Very professional and nice staff. The breakfast is just wonderful, and makes me think what I am missing on my international travels. I love this hotel, and looking forward to returning. Wow

The hotel has a great location right down town. Near the water and night life. The restaurant in the hotel was great they have a nice menu with many choices and the food is very good. Breakfast is complimentary and very good blend of Europe and American style food. The rooms are nice the only compliant I have is the elevators are so slow. It can also be a little loud on Saturday night because on the night club across the street.
