flew directly from Stansted to Billund airport, which was built as a direct result of the Lego factory, resort and hotel no doubt (as there is absolutely nothing else there whatsoever!!) In fact you can get a good look of the resort before landing. Anyhow, on arrival, we were confronted with Darth Vada, Legoed of course (something that happened to me at the bar one night) and a huge reception wall which must of contained well over a few thousand lego men. The staff were great, and off we popped to our room. We picked one of the themed rooms, adventure, if I remember correctly. I was quite impressed by the detail that had gone into our aboad, of course there was lego everywhere, but overall, the place was spotless and the kids loved it. The hallway leading down passed all the rooms was a nice touch too, with an Indiana Jones feel to it. The hotel restaurant was the only option for an evening meal, but as the food was plentiful (we opted for the buffet, one price, all you can eat) and I was very impressed with the quality (along with a weird chap dressed as a joker wandering about doing his impression of Kenn Dodd, tickling the children)...breakfast too was a delight, no complaints there. Lunch was taken inside the resort, and one restaurant was less than satisfactory, but never mind, can't always get it right. There was a couple of competition leaflets in the room, and the kids happily submitted there forms on the first night. Predictably, our 9 yr old daughter won....and gleefully returned to the room the next morning with her prizes of....yes you guessed it....Lego. The hotel had a really safe feel about it, and we were happy for the kids to wonder off, reporting back every now and again. If you do decide to venture into town, there is the Lego museum, which is where the original factory is sited. Even when it was closed on arrival, we could peer in the window and spot the very first Lego set ever built, an interesting side-step if interested. Anyway, overall, I would recommend a stay here as it is very child friendly (as expected), the rooms are clean, the staff are warm and the food is great.

really recommend the place to anybody we meet. There is a little box of LEGO on the pillow in the bed, for each of your children, and there is lots of activities for children in multiple rooms of the hotel.
We are returning there in less than a week, and is really looking forward to the stay ;0)

updating but quite comfortable and well appointed. I can see how they would be too cramped for a whole family
The restaurant was very expensive, if you are here without kids go for the bar menu instead. Good food, quick and a few good salads as well.
The service was friendly.
The gym was fantastic, let the kids play (at a number of little fun stops) while the parents can burn of some junk food and beat out frustration!!

seem to care. We were given a parking pass for the hotel car park and the tickets to the park and given the opportunity to store our luggage near reception. We had a buffet lunch in the restaurant and the fiood was very child friendly and very rustic for adults. For 4 persons including 1 drink the buffet bill came to around 100€. After lunch (approx 15:00), our room was ready for us to move in and we found that we were staying in a wonderfully "pirate" themed room. there is a bunk bed for the kids and a little toy, pens and lego treat for them as well.
I made sure to look up the days children adventures which are kept in a little stand next to the TV. There were three different "challenges" to solve:
1) Find a Figure - the children had to look areound the hotel and find common figures
2) Find the name of a Lego character using clues all over the hotel
3) build a themed Lego construction (ours was Boats or Ships)
The kids loved these advantures and were up until late at night building lego in the Hotel lobby where they have HUGE lego containers to build from
My wife and I relaxed at the bar while the kids ran around the Hotel untilö they nearkly fell over from tiredness. Just before heading of to bed, I asked for some additional pillows I was sent them in 5 minutes. The beds are very comfortable and the room is sufficiently noise insulated, but try to get a room away from the main passageways as in their excitement kids can be very load very early in the morning :-)
Breakfast was good as well and the walk from the hotel and early admission into the park was a great perk. I will be staying at this hotel again in the near future

experience.
We chose an "Adventure" room, which was spacious, sleeping 2 parents in a qeen bed and up to 4 kids (kids in 2x bunk beds, separate and a bit away from the parents´ sleeping area) and a spacious bathroom with shower. Room and beds are fresh. Fun in-room Lego and decoration.
Food is overall of very good quality: you can feel this place choses food and beverage based on quality: all from breakfast sausage to make-you-own-pancake station on the breakfast buffet, to the Adventure resturant a la carte food and wine offer.
Service is extremely friendly and attentive throughout. Staff are alert, attentive, on the ball... and just genuinly seem to care.
Will definitely return. A place to recommend for a night. Kids and parents leave with big smiles on their lips.
