The perfect place to stay for a couple looking for an inexpensive, safe stay. Away from the Road and much closer to the beach, it is a little inside from the main road to the beach. All the rooms are same only difference was the Ac.

Tucked away at a stone's throw away from Vagator beach you will find this nice and cosy nest called Jolly Roma. Visited the place last Christmas following on a sudden
inspiration to make a road trip tot Goa. Heard about the property from an old friend who used to stay at this property every year. Well, his recommendation has been worth gold.
Though the rooms are comparatively smaller, they are clean and airy and equipped with the amenities you will need - a fridge, hot water and a/c. Though property does not have a restaurant - but who cares when you have so many so close by to choose from. Also the staff is ever ready to help. While there, do meet the proprietor, Mr. Albuqurque and his family - they epitomise the spirit of Goa beautifully. Will definitely visit again.

I stayed with a friend at Jolly Jolly Roma for 3 nights during Sunburn festival.
It is 5 minutes walk to the beach & 10 minutes walk to the festival site.
Rooms are small but perfectly spaced & with all necessary amenities including fridge, hot water & air con.
Dennis, who manages the complex & lives on site, couldn't do enough to help us have a wonderful & comfortable stay.
I would stay here again, if I ever return to Vagator!

Its a nice place to stay. Rooms are clean and good. They provide AC, Refrigerator, TV.. you can ask the staff to clean your room at any time....they are very
cooperative and helps you finding places, restaurants, bikes and even the directions to travel. you can take bike/car for rent , that can be arranged by the staff...the main gate is open round the clock so that you can happily enter at any time.there is no restaurant inside this place but a 2min walk will give you lot of options.
it is located very close to the Vagator Beach. If you go to the road both the Small & Big Vagator beaches are 10 min walk. there is a shortcut to Big Vagator from the cottages, it takes less than 10 min walk...If you are planning a family holiday ur kids will have some place to run and play.
we were 2 couples and a kid.... we enjoyed well playing with my nephew .Do try a visit... Nice place!

first if you know goa then you understand the prices ! the best room is 1350 and its clean and it has air con and a telly,
the windows all have nets so if you dont keep the door open at mosquito time then you wont Get bit.
its about 2 mins walking on a road with shops to the beach , 2 of them , so very easy acces and in a brilliant location, 9 bar hilltop and primrose are all in 5 mins travel by bike
unless you spend 3000 rupees a night you wont truly ever get luxury but for 800 for a standard clean fan room with tv and fridge is pretty good going,.
its not a hotel either its a guesthouse with rooms so comparing it to a hotel is wrong
my only issue is with noisy Russians who are ignorant and rude but thats not romas problem its everyone's
passports are taken to get photocopied for the c form and its actually in your interest of safety to do it
paying in advance is normal worldwide
frankly your review is wrong and detrimental to hard working people who are trying to make a living , its no excuse to outright lie and anyone who knows north goa will back up the fact that your info is wrong
this place is fine for the amount you will pay
