Tucked away at a stone's throw away from Vagator beach you will find this nice and cosy nest called Jolly Roma. Visited the place last Christmas following on a sudden
inspiration to make a road trip tot Goa. Heard about the property from an old friend who used to stay at this property every year. Well, his recommendation has been worth gold.
Though the rooms are comparatively smaller, they are clean and airy and equipped with the amenities you will need - a fridge, hot water and a/c. Though property does not have a restaurant - but who cares when you have so many so close by to choose from. Also the staff is ever ready to help. While there, do meet the proprietor, Mr. Albuqurque and his family - they epitomise the spirit of Goa beautifully. Will definitely visit again.

I stayed with a friend at Jolly Jolly Roma for 3 nights during Sunburn festival.
It is 5 minutes walk to the beach & 10 minutes walk to the festival site.
Rooms are small but perfectly spaced & with all necessary amenities including fridge, hot water & air con.
Dennis, who manages the complex & lives on site, couldn't do enough to help us have a wonderful & comfortable stay.
I would stay here again, if I ever return to Vagator!

Its a nice place to stay. Rooms are clean and good. They provide AC, Refrigerator, TV.. you can ask the staff to clean your room at any time....they are very
cooperative and helps you finding places, restaurants, bikes and even the directions to travel. you can take bike/car for rent , that can be arranged by the staff...the main gate is open round the clock so that you can happily enter at any time.there is no restaurant inside this place but a 2min walk will give you lot of options.
it is located very close to the Vagator Beach. If you go to the road both the Small & Big Vagator beaches are 10 min walk. there is a shortcut to Big Vagator from the cottages, it takes less than 10 min walk...If you are planning a family holiday ur kids will have some place to run and play.
we were 2 couples and a kid.... we enjoyed well playing with my nephew .Do try a visit... Nice place!

After reading the great reviews on trip advisor, we thought we were very lucky to get a room at Jolly and paid in advance. Shockingly, when we turned up we
were shown a room with lizards running around & actual ant hills on the door! Needless to say we asked for another room - Same story. Asked for a refund and we were charged cancelation fees! It was so bad we decided to pay the fees rather than spend 1 night there.
It's close to the beach but apart from that I have nothing nice to say about this place. After years of traveling to Goa and staying at different places throughout, this is truly the worst experience ever. I'd recommend camping instead, at least you'd get to experience nature along with the bugs.

Was already in goa when I called them to book a room. They made sure I paid a certain amount to book the room. When we reached there, was a good thing we asked to see the roooms first. The room smelled musty and there were lizards. A double bed took most of the place, adding a third bed on the floor and there would be no further place to walk around. I guess if you are ok with all those factors then this room will work for you.
