It is good hotel with required ammenities. The issue is that room service reponse is very poor and issues with water in bathroom.
Just for want of water we need to ask repeatedly.
They don't provide a newspaper in the morning.
Overall the hotel is GOOD WITH BAD MANAGEMENT

I booked this hotel through a well known website at a rate of 4117 INR/night including taxes. Arriving at the hotel, an arrogant manager told me that he do not find traces of my booking in his system. He asked me then to pay an higher rate for the room, i.e. 5395 INR/night including taxes and asked me to swipe my credit card. Tired by the trip to Kodaikanal and not feeling like looking around for another room, I agreed to pay the higher rate, but telling clearly the manager that I believed my credit card had already been charged by the booking website. He told me there would be no problems, but back to Europe, I realized that I have been charged both by the booking website and by the hotel, so that I paid twice for the same room.
Apart from this issue, the rooms are clean but very average in terms of comfort for the paid price. Contrarily to what is advertised on the hotel's website, internet is not available in the rooms, only in the lobby. Also, there is no 24/24 hot water. At 10 pm, I had to take a cold shower. The food in the restaurant is not good and the Indian breads are clearly not fresh but coming out of a deep-freezer. The hotel is located far from the lake and from the activities. An additional negative point, check-out was set at 9 am. It annoyed me a bit as I am a late sleeper, but ok, I accepted it. What made me angry is that, the day I left the hotel, the manager woke me up at 7 am by a phone call to remind me to check-out at 9 am!
Definitely a no-no.
