Its good! Staff are good. Services are fast when ordered.
Overall good experience. Food quality is good. Its very much near to Park Street so location wise good fro people who want to visit the main areas of Calcutta. Only the surrounding buildings are old and the road in front is one way.

About Hotel : This hotel is located near central kolkatta walking distance from park street. With a price tag of Rs 1300 via cleartrip.com; It was excellent deal and ofcourse a great hotel at this price. Hotel is fully air conditioned which is a positive aspect in indian summers. Staff are courteous and more than happy to take your request, no matter its day or night.
About Rooms : Rooms are small in size but clean , non smelly and properly maintained , you would never face any problems.
About Food : Food is excellent , however a little expensive to your pocket based on hotel condition, however taste would make sure you would never realise about the price.
My two days trip to kolkatta with Hotel hira international was a great deal and would never forget that.

This hotel is really good in terms of clean room though expensive when is booking done at spot (little expensive than 3 stars) but its cheaper online. Near to market and metro. Staffs are friendly with their services,. My room charges include breakfast at morning, allo paratha and tea with potatoes curry - good tasty but don t expect more than this. Recomend for room don't include breakfast.

I checked in at this Hotel on 8th Feb'2013. Its location is grt8. Park street metro is nearby - a grt8 plus point. Rooms were clean and comfortable - not so big. Staff members were well mannered and decent. They are experienced and old luvly people. But the most disturbing thing is the street noise at night. The street dogs barking whole night was so disturbing that I hardly could sleep for 2 nights I stayed there. Price is on the higher side (around Rs.2900.00) for a single occupancy with basic facilities. For shopping one can go to new market area which is only next stop (esplanade) to park street metro. Airport is also around 45mins - 1 hr drive. You will find lot of gud quality restaurants near this hotel. Mcdonlds, KFC are just 5 mins walk. Taste the "kacha mangsho" with "roti" in the restaurant opposite to Heera hotel. Overall a nice stay.
