Had an enjoyable stay at Hotel Gulmarg. The staff were polite and helpful. The only problem was that the timing of the vehicle was not allowed to enter the hotel between 3.00 pm to 8.00 pm and had to be parked about 2 km from the hotel causing a lot of inconvenience to us as guest of the hotel. Otherwise the location, stay and spacious accommodation needs to be complemented.Keep it up.

It is located from a road going upwards near Hotel Cephar Grand.
Its a two star Non-AC hotel so don't expect luxury at that price. The hotel staff is very friendly and helps in parking related issues but the rooms furniture/maintenance is old.

I been staying one day in this hotel on April 2013 with my family .... Its hectic ...the rooms was very dirty.. nasty toilets.. I opted this hotel reading reviews..... But now i concluded those were fake reviews
honestly i cant say some thing is good in this hotel expect i see a gentle man at the reception with pleasing face ...

Well, I must say that I was prepared for it, but still...The hotel should be considered a hostel with sigle rooms. Most of the rooms are on the hotel basement. That means, no windows on the rooms. The furniture and the bed sheets were a few decades old.Same with the bath towels, so I would reccomend you to take your own. Take your toilet paper as well... not available in the hotel.Bathroom is spacious, but with no divisions, meaning that it gets all wet after a shower. So, if you are planning on getting just a place to crash and take a shower, it is fine! But if you are planning on spending a bit of time inside the room, get somewhere else.

I have been to India before and know one can't expect western standards in less expensive hotels but this has to be the worst place ever. There were no sheets on the bed! Just filthy, dirty mattresses and blankets. The mirrors were dirty and the bathroom (if you can call it a bathroom) was so dirty and filthy you could have caught any disease on earth. The toilet was sickening! We moved out immediately but unfortunately they had a 50% deposit via Agoda. I will review on Agoda as this hotel should be taken offline.
Cleartrip’s hotel ratings take into account numerous factors such as independent rating systems like FHRAI, media recognition and post-trip feedback from our customers. We make all attempts to keep this information up to date, but cannot guarantee service levels at the hotel to be consistent.
