the full amount and refused to give me a receipt when I paid for my stay. Do not leave the counter unless you have a receipt. I confronted the staff member and stated that it made no sense for me not to pay the additional $5, which is nothing in American standards. Accused staff member returned the $5 and staff apologized for the incident.
Also the room is far from luxurious, unless you enjoy sleeping on an uncomfortable bed and lizards running across the walls.

we bought our transport to Ajanta and Ellora we were overcharged looking back, and I had to push to get my change. We also bought water which they attempted to charge us twice for aftter the first time paying having short changed us anyway(by which point id lost my temper and didnt give in). They charged us for 2 hours internet even though they hung over us and cut the power 4 times leading us to get nothing done. The AC also worked like 6 hours a day tops, the soundproofing was awful and the bathroom was dirty.

At MTDC the rooms are available at 1560 AC Double Bedroom
You can also book your Ajanta tour (Rs 300 per head) & Ellora tour (Rs 200 per head) (includes Daulatabad Fort, Ellora Caves, Ghirweshwar Temple, Biwi Ka Maqbara, Panchakki)
Hotel Classic Feedback:
My day 1 at Hotel Classic went fine, even though I had to repetitively ask them to turn on AC for which I had paid.
Day 2 at night the power went out, there was no generator, until 4:00 AM there were no fans/lights. They moved us to different room at 4:30 AM again there was no AC in the room. Lets be real me and my wife didn't get any sleep.
Day 3 we were moved to same room as Day 1, again we had call them 2-3 times to turn on the AC.
After this nightmare the best they could do was reduce Rs 200 from total bill. Price per day was Rs 1300.
Worst possible service you can expect from this Hotel.
There are other hotels in the area like Manmandir, Hotel Manor rather stay there.
Hopefully I saved someone's vacation turning into a nightmare.
