I wrote a review for the Miragem last year because I was so impressed with this hotel. We returned this year to celebrate my parents' 50th wedding anniversary, and wow, I am just if not more impressed. We booked four rooms, with a total of seven adults and two kids. You can not go wrong with this hotel. We have traveled all over the world and stayed in many 5-star hotels, but this hotel is something special. They attend to every detail, from the selection and service at breakfast, to stuffed animals for the kids, to frozen grapes passed at the pool in the afternoon. Every singe employee that we met was professional and kind. The rooms are spotless, roomy and so very comfortable. The maids do a tremendous job. And need we mention the value for the money? You would never get this anywhere else in southern Europe. Anyone who has a problem with this hotel has no idea what traveling is about. Thank you to EVERYONE at the Miragem for making my parents anniversary so special. It is a time we will never forget! And we will be back next summer!

YES - The breakfast is great and you can just sit back and relax at the pool but the real reason you want to stay at this hotel IS THE STAFF !!
WE HAVE NEVER BEEN TO A HOTEL THAT HAD A BETTER GROUP OF PEOPLE. From the time you enter the hotel, everyone wants to make sure you enjoy your stay. The restaurant staff greeted the guests every morning and made sure their every need were addressed. The bar staff was well trained in the wine area and always happy to make a suggestion.
If you get the chance to visit this area - make sure you stay at this hotel !!

My wife and me lived in a hotel "Mirage" for ten days from 29 August to 8 September. The room was large and comfortable, with a balcony. The balcony overlooks the Atlantic Ocean. Perfect bathroom and toilet. Over all the hotel softly music sounds. At the reception, burn scented candles. I would place the owners of the hotel used simply because it does not all have the same preferences odors. We only had breakfast at the hotel, the rest in the town, to which a 10-15 minute walk in picturesque places. For breakfast there was a large selection of food. Product quality is excellent. Wonderful work staff. Vacation turned out great.

Had great expectations of this hotel based on previous reviews. However, there were some aspects disappointing. Pool & pool deck area very small. August is busy time and sunbeds were pretty much on top of one another. Breakfast was indeed very good, but repetitive. No variety in what was offered over the course of 8 days. Service at breakfast was extremely efficient tho & the waiting staff were very friendly as were the pool staff. The hotel lobby while very impressive begs the question why so big when so underused. Doesn't lend itself to any interaction between front desk staff and guests. Bedroom was good size, we had booked room overlooking pool with sea view and was worth the extra. Location of this hotel very good and the standard of the hotel furnishings, atmosphere, etc are certainly 5*, but it just lacked something in atmosphere or sense of being special.

Good location, service and all round great place for the family. Breakfast really top notch... Suite great for a family of 4 - enormous balcony and superb views. We only
ate at the hotel nice in the evening and it was perhaps a little quiet and therefore soulless - plenty of good reastaurants in the town centre down the road.
