This hotel has a great location - right by the railway station and within walking distance of the historical part of the town. It is excellent - spacious rooms with great bathrooms, very helpful staff and cooked breakfasts to die for. The bed was extremely comfortable and I slept like a log. I enjoyed my stay very much.

What a great hotel and excellent value for money. Ok, the rooms may be small but they have everything you need and plenty of storage space for your clothes. There
is a tv and a kettle with tea & coffee, fridge, mini bar, safe. The breakfast is very good with lots of choice hot and cold food. There is a bar area for the evening. Free internet access. Very friendly helpful staff on reception. The location is excellent, across the road from the train station and tram lines. 5 minute walk to the nearest shops and 10 minutes to the old market square. When the new S-Bahn line is open it will take you directly to the market square from opposite the hotel in minutes.
We have stayed in Leipzig before and have paid more for hotels which do not include breakfast. I would happily stay here again.

Being situated over the road from the railway station means if you're arriving by train it's perfectly located. Likewise, trams and buses are just over the road in front of the station and the city centre easily walkable. Rooms are definitely on the compact size but have all the amenities. There was only me in my room but I can imagine it would be snug if there was two of you. Breakfast was very good with a wide range of hot and cold food.

The room we found to be much too warm in winter months with no way for the guest to control the heating. Air Con is not operational during the cold months so the window has to be left open. That's when the advantage of being near to public transport becomes a disadvantage due to tram noise which you get used to. Unfortunately, they seem to work all hours of the night to get the S Bahn extension ready with various generators, pumps etc running. The bed was not up to our standard as it was akin to sleeping on a jelly, one movement woke the wife and vice versa. There was a kettle in the room to make hot drinks, ours didn't work so it was removed. The only problem was that a new one didn't appear! On the positive, location, breakfast and staff.

The location of this hotel was just great; it was opposite the main railway station of Leipzig. The city center was also reachable by both, walking or with car. The breakfast was nice, but the rooms were terribly small. There were a parking place in the backyard.
