For one night by Leipzig main rail station this hotel was tops! Literally across the road from the bahnhof (on the west side), but also very handy to the old heart of the historic city. Rooms are not big but are very well designed, making full use of the space. Breakfast was very good, the full range, including espresso coffee. And service was very good. Our room on arrival (level 1) was too warm for us, but the room was quickly changed. People smoke out front which is annoying but typical.

Friendly staff who made you feel welcome, comfortable beds, quiet area even though you're just to the side if tge station. Very good location, rooms are good for the price you pay. Free Wifi and Internet PC if you need it.

The room was clean, and the staff were friendly. We slept very well in a comfortable bed, and the traffic noise did not disturb us at all when the window was closed. And since the AC worked perfectly in those hot summer nights, we kept it closed. And the room was really quiet; no noise from the corridor or from the neighboring rooms. The breakfast was good. The only complaint I have is that the cleaning staff kept ringing the door bell (twice each day) allthough we had placed the do not disturb sign on the door handle, but I can live with that.

This hotel is just over the road from the main railway station and within easy walking distance of the city centre. It is also close to both the bus station
and a major tram interchange so it is an excellent base of operations for sight seeing in and around Leipzig.
As has been previously noted, the rooms are somewhat small but that wasn't a problem for us as we only used them for sleeping. The noise from the air conditioning is noticeable, but no more so than other hotels we have stayed in and with temperatures in the high 20's when we were there, we can testify to its effectiveness! We didn't notice any traffic noise but we were in rooms at the back overlooking a car park and, as city dwellers, we are used to traffic noise anyway.
All the staff were very friendly and helpful and many spoke excellent English. The hotel was clean and towels were changed daily if you wanted fresh ones. The breakfast provided an extensive choice and catered to all tastes. There is free wi-fi and, for those who don't want to bring a mobile device with them, a computer terminal in main reception, which is also free to residents.
All told we recommend this hotel and plan to return next year.

Stayed solo in the double room, though the room is extremely small. Service is quite well, as I made an early check-in request and I was able to have my room by 11 something. I was staying in the room next to the lift and facing the main room, but it made no difference, as it is a very quiet room. The breakfast was ok and they even offer coffee to take away. As tourist area in Leipzig is not very big, I would say, staying in this hotel is quite a good choice! Will consider to stay there again next time!
