Good location by the railway station and an easy walk to town. Friendly and helpful staff. Room was small but well designed and comfortable. No particular atmosphere, but the bar was quite OK for a nightcap in the evening. Sauna was a plus. With the price I paid excellent value.

The hotel enjoys an excellent central location. Literally across the road from the main Leipzig train station and central tram hub it was really easy to find and well-placed for
getting around the city.
The facilities were just as I hoped, a comfortable bed in a nicely air-conditioned room with a well-stocked minibar and nice little compact bathroom.
The laundry service was prompt to return the items I sent for cleaning (which was a mercy as I found myself a little sweat in the daily +30C temperatures) as well.
The breakfast buffet wasn't anything spectacular but I was very pleased with the variety and the high quality of the foods available and I enjoyed fuelling up for the day. :D
My highest praise goes to the service I received from the staff who exceeded my expectations of the famed German efficiency and made check-in/out an easily quick and painless affair. It was nice to have the staff coming round and asking if I wanted tea or coffee while at breakfast. :D The highlight of the service was when they succeeded in matching my request when I booked the hotel for a colour photo of Morenna Baccarin. Kudos.
Would definitely recommend this hotel if you want a convenient city-centre location. :D

The location is just across the street from a tram stop and the Bahnhof. It is very convenient, but if you have a front facing room, then even rom the top floor it sounds like you're on an airport runway when you open a window. Be prepared also, if they give you a room 700, that you will be walking up one flight of stairs. The thermostat system is so complicated (we couldn't get it to turn off) that some of the staff can't even shut it off without disconnecting it. Room walls are so thin that you can hear the neighbors conversations. Our bathroom emitted a permanent sewer smell. Beyond those things, the bed was comfortable, the room was neat and clean and the bathrom was roomy. Breakfast buffet for €8.50PP was plentiful and had a decent variety. The staff was helpful in directing us to various things. Would we go back? Maybe because of the low price, but I'd probably try for something else first.

Was here for 3 nights. It was an excellent location right next to the train station and the staff was fabulous. I loved the breakfast also, however, there were some
First, it was loud. There is a tram line right outside and it was very difficult to sleep. The advantage is that we had to be up before 6:00am to catch an early flight and we didn't need to set an alarm clock.
Second, it was hot. Our stay was late June and it was difficult to sleep with the heat in the room.
Third, and most importantly, the internet sucked. We had to have a different log-in for every device. Everytime, you shut off the device, you had to log in again. What was worse is that the system booted us off about every 10 minutes. The first night we lost internet connectivity altogether for a two-hour stretch. I was there for business and it was impossible to do any work at all under these conditions.
Fourth, the showers were not hot. The water was luke-warm and would cycle between warm and cold. Absolutely miserable.
I had a colleague who arrived two days before I did and he had all the same complaints. I'd have given this a one-star, but for the breakfast and friendly and helpful staff.

Several previous reviewers seem to be saying this hotel is "ok for the price", and I would say that's true if you get it for a cheap rate. I stayed
on a bank holiday at a cost of 136 Euro a night, and it is definitely not worth that!
The room was clean, a bit small, and the bed comfortable enough. Didn't have much interaction with the staff, but they were helpful and polite during check-in and check-out.
The problems were the noise and the heat. The room was unbearably hot, and the trams outside were so noisy that you couldn't have the window open to cool the room down. The rooms are described as being air-conditioned, but really it's just a fan that doesn't work very well and is also noisy. So you have a choice between not sleeping because of the heat, and not sleeping because of the noise!
I would expect better for the price I paid. If it were more reasonably priced, I think the above problems would be more acceptable.
The location is great though, right next to the Hauptbahnhof and just a few mins' walk from town.
Didn't have the breakfast, but it looked fine. There are good breakfast options in the station too.
