with a four poster bed and modern bathroom. The view was lovely too. Breakfast was plentiful. Staff was very polite and helpful at all times. Wifi was only available downstairs, but the lounge room is comfortable. It's a quick ride in an auto-rickshaw to get to the centre of Ooty. We would definitely stay here again.

a Time Machine which takes you back and gives you an opportunity to experience the 19th century and a stay in a Villa. The Owner (Mr. Sahil Sait), Staff including the Manager (Mr. Karthik) is extremely courteous and always willing to help (With a smile). I would highly recommend this place to families as well as couples (Wooden cottages are the place to stay for couples).

The room was wonderful, large and airy and the toilet clean, thought the shower cubicle could do with a good scrub. The wooden floor made gave a feel of coziness. We ordered snacks and it was excellent and very generous. The grouse we had was that the hot chocolate as made of milk powder. Dinner was again a pleasant surprise with the soup, sandwiches, pasta made really well and served tastefully in the room. The staff are very courteous, unobtrusive and ever helpful.
The room was thoughtfully provided with a hot water kettle, tea and coffee sachets in case you needed to make a cuppa.
The breakfast consisted on omelettes to order, piping hot pongal and Upma, cereals, milk, bread, butter and jam, washed down with fruit juice and tea or coffee. Truly a hearty feast!
We checked out after breakfast but not before checking out the ground. This is perhaps the only drawback to this place. The grounds around this lovely property is derelict. All it requires is a garden to make the Glyngarth experience complete!
I would love to go back. For three people, the tariff for a room with breakfast was worth the price with the added bonus of living in a colonial bungalow, that is maintained very well.
There has been a tremendous effort put in to restore the place and give you that authentic colonial opulence.
A really memorable stay!

spacious but modern. Staff was very courteous & friendly.
Villa campus is also very nice for relaxation & offers nice view. They have very nicely maintained Living Room & common area.
Breakfast was very good. Lighting inside rooms needs improvement. Also rates for food were slightly on higher side.
I would definitely recommend this hotel for relaxation. Groups can enjoy more.
