was really worried about her food outside but fairstay made it easy . Food and service was excellent . Staff were very kind and courteous .Few minor suggestions i would give are;
1) The private road leading to fairstay resort should be considerably improved .
2) Room heater provided is not enough to heat the entire room .
3) Currently there are no lunch facility provided in the resort . Would suggest them to provide the same for guests who prefer to stay at the resort itself rather than going out for sight seeing .
I would definitely recommend this resort to everybody who visit Ooty and looking for home away from home.

Good food. The morning breakfast has generally 3-4 items with a very special fresh tea (export quality) from near by tea estates. The dinner is delicious mostly south Indian style ( Chapathi, 2 Vegetable curry, masala rice, sambhar )
Nice and clean rooms with an extra bed helpful for families travelling with kids.
Play area for kids.
Most beautiful thing is the hotel management arranging cars for local site seeing for the guests for a very cheap and competitive price.

Room was spacious, clean and with good ventilation. Washrooms can be better. Food was excellent, not the typical restaurant types...only buffet is available and is good, i liked the way they served us..with love . As other reviewers mentioned - condition of the road to reach this property is very bad. it is far from the main market, but who wants the busy market noise when u r on a holiday day...location is good...i liked the play area, my kids didn;t want to come out of the swings...value for money and good people, good food..

expensive things(mobile, earings) lost from here. so its good to take care of ur luggage & not to trust blindly to anybody.
