without even informing me, and dumped my luggage including my expensive jacket in the foyer. Adding insult to the injury they lost my bag. They talked about lack of communication inspite of the fact that they had my phone number. They did not apologize, neither have they agreed to compensate for the loss. The CEO is still to get back to me and is most unhelpful, the owners of the hotel are incommunicado. It was an insulting experience and the reponse of the management has been the same. In hindsight I should have filed a police complaint. Do not recommend this hotel if you value your self respect.

hotels, this one is OK, but it is a long way off European/North American standards.
My 'Executive' room had dirty floors, dirty bathroom, and a shower head that didn't work well. Internet service is by buying a card (Rs 1000 for 24 hours! - way too expensive).
The food was provided to everyone at the conference, and was fine. I can't comment on the restaurant, since I wasn't there.
They constantly forgot to supply shampoo, soap, toilet paper, etc. after the first batch was used. Worse, even though a 1L bottle of water is meant to be supplied daily, it never was after the first day. They sent some up each time, but I shouldn't have to ask.
For foreigners worried about water quality, a good-sized kettle is provided so you can boil the tap water. This works well for brushing teeth and for drinking in a pinch.
Overall, for an Indian hotel, I'd give this four out of five stars, but for Europe/North America, 1-2 (at the most). Don't expect much and you'll be pleasantly surprised.
