I am touring Ireland for 3 months, and after the first time I was in Killarney and stayed at a B&B too far out of town fr my liking, I

found this place online and realized how affordable it was. I only paid a small bit more than what I would pay at a B&B, and you seriously cannot beat the location, if you want a place to walk home to after a night of pub crawling. It is right in the center of town, above the Danny Mann Pub, which also has live music every night. You can't hear any pub noise from the rooms, however, even with requesting a quiet room, you can occasionally hear shouting and drunk teenagers in the alley behind the hotel. But I'd still stay here again in a heartbeat- the people at the front desk are so nice and helpful, and again, you cannot beat the location or the price.

Can't vouch for the back of the hotel but I would definitely avoid the front.

However down a small alleyway and we were in the carpark, very limited it was but bo one wanted the park immediately after the entrance barrier which was excellent and undercover for our motorcycles. After a long walk with our luggage via the nightclub, bar etc we arrived at reception which actually fronts another street that cant access the carpark. After unloading we were informed of a lift right next to the car park and only metres from our rooms just a pitty they didnt tell us first as they later told us that's why we got the rooms we did to have a luggage free arrival. Still it saved us when we left and we used it to access the street. The rooms were large but heating seemed spasmotic but when working was fine. The rooms were very nicely furnished and had all the faciities plus more eg a spa bath! the breakfast was ten euro extra and on the 2nd day slow ie the buffet wasnt ready when the dining room opened. They also did specials but didnt make that clear at first but when they did their results were excellent. The street outside became noisy at night and light sleepers maybe disturbed but this is not the hotels fault.
