- What is Cleartrip Graphs?
- Cleartrip Graphs is a handy way to see the cheapest fares on each airline between two cities for an entire month. If your travel dates are flexible, use Cleartrip Graphs to figure out the best date and airline to fly.
- What do the lines on the graph mean?
- Each line plots the cheapest fares on a particular airline against each day of the month. Check the filter panel on the left for the airline color coding. Alternately, you can see details about the flight and fare when you move your mouse over the circles plotted along the line.
- How is Cleartrip Graphs different from Cleartrip Calendar?
- Cleartrip Graphs allows comparison of fares across multiple airlines, whereas Cleartrip Calendar shows you the cheapest fare only.
- Can I see round trip fares on Cleartrip Graphs?
- No, you can’t. The fares shown on the Graphs are one–way prices, starting from the first and ending at the second city you picked in the drop–down boxes along the side. If you want fares for the return journey, just reverse the order of the cities.
- Why are there no fares for certain days?
- You might occasionally notice that there are no prices for some dates. This isn’t because there aren’t any flights on those dates, but just means that we don’t currently have fares for that date. If you need to travel on dates for which the Graphs aren’t showing any fares, simply do a regular fare search from the main cleartrip.com page.
- How many people is the displayed fare for?
- The displayed fare is for one (1) person only. You can select the actual number of travellers once you click the little circles on the chart.
- Why is there only one flight per airline shown for each day?
- The flight shown is the one with the best fare for that day on that airline.
- Can I narrow my search to include only specific airlines?
- Sure. Look along the left side for the list of airlines, and just un–check the ones you don’t want to include in your search.
- Are these fares accurate?
- They’re as accurate as our search can make them. For travel between major cities, you’re most likely looking at current information. For less frequently visited places, you might get fares that are a few hours older. Click on the little circles and hit ‘Search flights‘ to get the most up–to–date price.
- I clicked on a fare I liked, but then got taken to another page and shown a higher fare. What gives?
- Airfares tend to fluctuate rapidly and unpredictably. The Graphs search displays fares that are as accurate as possible, but sometimes a fare changes between the time our system retrieves and the time you try to book it.
- Why can’t I see fares plotted for the airline of my choice?
- It’s possible that another airline has the same prices for the period you are looking at. Try un–checking the other airlines in the filter along the left side.
- How do I book a fare I like?
- To book a fare, you need to tell us the number of people travelling. Click on any circle along the line, confirm and submit the form on the right and we’ll check seat availability.
