Topic: Suggestions & feedback / One Suggestion on Graphs Thanks for the reply. I understand that neither this code change is big (it’s hardly a 5 min. job, I know as I am a software engineer myself), nor its benefits, but I would like to point that it’s often the small things that matter the most. For example, I was a frequent user of your biggest competitor site, and I switched to ClearTrip for one small reason: ClearTrip showed the total fare (basic + tax) in the listing whereas on the competitor site I had to click on every flight and mentally add the two components. So small enhancements (specially if they can be done with small effort) should always be encouraged. 5 min. of your effort would save every user 30 seconds every visit to refer the color legend. Now coming to the issue of some airlines having similar color (like Deccan and Kingfisher), they can be assigned similar color codes (like Red and Maroon). But there are many other airlines that use unique colors: no one except Jet uses Yellow, Go-Air is the only one using Pink, only Indian uses the Saffron. So while I don’t push (who am I to?) you to implement the suggestion, I request you to please create an issue in your defect tracking system so that at least the developers know about it. |

Topic: Suggestions & feedback / One Suggestion on Graphs It looks like you have accepted the compliment very well but ignored the suggestion. I don’t see even an assurance that you will “try” to implement it. Now after 2 months, since it is still not implemented, nor did I get any reply saying this suggestion is technically impossible/complex/worthless, am I to assume that ClearTrip is only interested in praising and does not really need any suggestions from users? |

Topic: Suggestions & feedback / One Suggestion on Graphs The new graph feature is superb, just what I was looking for. One minor improvement suggestion from me: The line color used to plot the graph for a particular airline (color legend) should be kept similar to the color used in airline logo, that will make it more intuitive; e.g. Go-Air can be shown in Pink, Indian can be shown in Saffron, JetLite never uses Green color anywhere, so it can be rather shown in Blue. |
