Topic: Suggestions & feedback / Apple iPhone Thank you for the revelation. I will now drop my video project & do something more useful; it was mainly to kick Nikhil in the shin for his presumptive statement (no offence meant but you know how one feels). As a suggestion, you should solve this problem by accepting an input into the blank box (on the RHS) with the IATA 3-letter airport code. BLR for Bangalooru (which is btw an obnoxious spelling … where did you get that from?) and PNQ for Pune (or “Poona, IN Lohegaon blah blah” as you call it). That way, it will work for such devices/browsers that do not have the ability to let you use the funny script you are currently using to prompt the user with. This new International search release is a bit of a let down and I have had to buy 3 tickets (so far) off makemytrip. Cheers, |

Topic: Suggestions & feedback / Apple iPhone I use this app at an average of one ticket purchase a month. This error is easily repeated. I repeated it even now. Only it showed a new error (more sophisticated verbiage) but means the same … Just so you know, my environment is: Apple iPhone running Safari. Firmware ver: 1.0.2 I will probably do a video and send you a Youtube link. Bekar weekend project but will give me something to do. G’night. |

Topic: Suggestions & feedback / CreditCard narration to help sort Rename trip is useful only when you sort a calendar view. Trips are highly topical and one doesn’t revisit a calendar (the old parts). My request is specific to a situation that typically happens 30-45 days later when the card statement shows up and someone other than the transaction owner is trying to sort. All payment gateways will handle some merchant narration or transaction details field. The trick is for you to allow a user like me to give you some thing on the fly and send that appendage along with your info to the payment broker. Eminently doable. Pl push. - dv |

Topic: Suggestions & feedback / CreditCard narration to help sort Hi I am a regular user of your application. I use a credit card to pay (invariably the same card for all bookings). This has led to a problem that I wish you solve for me. Some travel is personal, most is for my business. I would like you to provide a 10 character space that I am able to provide you in the application towards a credit card statement narrative. You can easily lop your present narration which looks like ‘CLEARTRIP TRAVEL SERVIMUMBAI’ to CLEARTRIP TRAVEL or to CLEARTRIP MUMBAI … allowing me (the user) enough space. I will fill some string for my sorting and this helps identify the line items I claim from the business. Makes it easy for my accountant. We’re hitting a year end and he’s choked enough to complain today (I’d never have discovered his issue otherwise). Please think about it. Useful. regards, |

Topic: Suggestions & feedback / when i had to call in for a hotel !!! Sounds good. Thank you! Also, please note that you have been sending me mails from an ID that in my inbox, identifies itself as “customersupport” Makes it easy to identify and sort. I recall making noises about this once before but it’s not been actioned yet (or there are multiple interfaces/apps that need attention). regards, |

Topic: Suggestions & feedback / when i had to call in for a hotel !!! Hi Riddhi, I work at Softcell – a large volume corporate Internet service provider. Our speciality is email (SMTP management being a key area). I just went through all logs of attempts by your SMTP host and am pleased to inform you that there are no failed attempts on 5/12/2007. Earlier today, Rashmi said the booking was not done. She also assured me that I would receive a full refund if the card has been charged. Now you, along with Krishna are opening a new chapter. Like I noted earlier the whole effort is one confused mess (my reference to the muddled team is a summation). I want a written confirmation from you that you will not bill me. Thank you! regards, |

Topic: Suggestions & feedback / when i had to call in for a hotel !!! I am going to narrate a really bad story here. feedback point-1 to note: NOBODY bothered calling me. When I called into your flights department, they were not able to identify me by my login credentials. they however, acknowledged that a booking did exist and helped me conclude that transaction OFF LINE. It is time, you changed the verbiage on your warning message so there is no promise in the first place. I then got transferred to the hotel department. I got no call. I finally gave the booking to someone else (a 3rd girl). I was upset at the complete lack of coordination and finesse with the HOTEL section but was ok with the conclusion. I was off on a little South trip and returned last night (look at my trip sheet with you). On my return, I looked at all inwards in my mailbag and surprise surprise … Nothing in the inward from Cleartrip. I called Starwood in BLR (my friend works there) and got myself a room in The Mughal (14k+). I wrote to your customer support for a confirmation that they have NOT billed me (preemption is better always … I’d hate to see a card statement later and fight a fresh case). Rashmi called. I couldn’t take her call as I was on another line but I spoke to her briefly asking where I should call. She asked me to cal the 30014999 number that was showing on my mobile’s screen. That number is a disaster. feedback point-2: If this is an external call centre, you should IMHO sack them and get a new one. If this is being run in-house, you have to train them or hire the whole bunch afresh. I run a service company too and I know this is an uphill task. I’d have headed into a marital discord if this itinerary had broken somewhere (full moons don’t happen often enough). I’m lucky overall in that I got off lightly. The problem is, I still like your portal but will steer clear of all voice discussions at 30014999 (that is an absolute disaster in my opinion). cheers, |

Topic: Suggestions & feedback / traveller's name deets :: step-2 Obviously, I didn’t the request properly. The passenger’s name is left blank including the “Mr” drop down in my case. This would be a nice to have feature. I hope it is clearer now. cheers, |
