Topic: Suggestions & feedback / Bye bye boring IRCTC

Hi Pankaj, thanks for the appreciation, it means a lot to all of us here at Cleartrip.

Glad you also liked our connecting train search. The displayed connections are just suggestions, we do not currently support bookings for connecting trains. You are right, you would need to do the search again and book the two trains separately for now.

Could you also help us with a little more information on what came all struck through on our page?

Raghu, thanks for writing in. Could you help us with a little more information about this – was it happening on the Profile page or the booking step for flights, hotels or trains? Please also let us know what browser and operating system you are using so we can check.

Topic: Miscellaneous / Travel Cash Receipt

Anonymous, the trip details page nanda pointed at would open up when we click on the trip IDs on the trips dashboard where we have the Upcoming, Completed and Cancelled/Refunded trips listed.

Airline rules for cancellation and amendments (reschedule) are available under the Fare rules link across our site for a flight booking pre and post transaction. After booking, you can view the Fare rules from:

  • the details page of a trip – screen shot as given on this post
  • the cancellation page of a confirmed booking

Hope this helps.

Topic: Miscellaneous / Non-Indian residents using Cleartrip

Samed, you can make a Delhi to BDQ or any other flight booking originating from India (to an Indian or worldwide destination). But unfortunately, we only accept American Express credit cards issued in India for payments. We, however, do have a bunch of other payment options you may want to try.

For more information on various cards you can use to pay on our site, please refer this. Besides this, we also accept:

Debit card payments: ICICI bank
Net banking payments: ICICI, HDFC and Citi bank

Topic: Complaints / Ticket CURRENCY

Anonymous, thanks for your feedback on the email. Like Nanda pointed out, it looks like the bank site is picking up the wrong currency. We are checking on this and will get back to you on mail.

Topic: Complaints / Printing E-Tickets is a Pain

Sanjay, my apologies for this inconvenience. You are right, we had a bug on our system printing “Cleartrip Air Ticket” mail on some application. We have now fixed this bug, it should now work for ticket mails received after 14th Jan 2008.

Please note that you can also access your e-tickets from Cleartrip Ticket and print them from here.

Topic: Complaints / Relsult list changes when Infant added to passenger list

Deepgandotra, we have some issues with the Deccan booking system for bookings with infant. Deccan results will be back up on our site for infant searches as soon as these are resolved. We apologize for this inconvenience. As infants do not hold seats, in the interim you can however make a booking without infant and pay the infant fare at the airline counter while checking-in.

Robin, thanks for checking. Were you getting Deccan results for a roundtrip search with infant travelers? If yes, could you please provide details of your search query (City, date etc)?
