Cancellation page changes (locked)

We’ve had some users complaining that our cancellation page wasn’t intuitive enough and they ended up cancelling by mistake. Also, we weren’t really happy about the way the fare rules and restrictions were hidden away under a link and the user had to click, to find out the cancellation charges. As of yesterday, we’ve fixed both the problems.

The fare rules and restrictions are now clearly shown right below the “Cancel” button. Previously they were hidden by default and you had to click on the “Fare rules” link (in the flight details header) to view them. Just under the fare rules and restrictions we now have the Cleartrip flight booking policy. You might want to read these to get a sense of how much money will be deducted upon cancellation.

Upon hitting the “Cancel” button you’ll now be shown a confirmation dialog – just checking whether you’re really sure about the cancellation. Upon hitting the “Cancel passengers now” button we’ll make the cancellation and the customer service chaps will get back to you with the refund amount in a couple of days.
