Wrong surname on e-ticket

Dear Cleartrip Admin,

I got married, but haven’t changed my name on photo IDs. My in-laws booked my ticket with my first name, but new last name. Is that going to be a problem when I am traveling? Can I make changes to the last name in the e-tickets? There are 3 of them.

Anonymous – There is no provision to change the last name on the e-tickets.In this case you can carry your old photo id with you while travelling & checkin with the same,if the tickets are booked in the old name.For further queries you can get in touch with us.

Anonymous – You can also carry your marriage certificate in this scenario.

I requested for an air ticket in the name of MR.Vijay K Menon and you booked it as MRS. Vijay K Menon. Iwant it corrected. How the hell do I do it?? TRIP ID 08068AD951

Anonymous – Title change is not permitted by the airlines.

As discussed with our Customer Care Agent, Kingfisher Airlines has passed necessary remark in their systems for the title mistake.

Kindly carry a valid photo id at the time of check-in.
