ATTN! Inaccurate SMS from Cleartrip regarding departure of flights from Bangalore

I have booked a flight from Bangalore to Hyderabad – Indigo 6e-152 departing at 7:35pm tonight (22nd). I got an SMS from Cleatrip saying this will leave from the new airport and prompts me to recheck. I double checked with airlines and with cleartrip though phone and all have confirmed it leaves from the HAL airport as originally expected.

I hope Cleartrip notifies the passengers with updated and accurate information ASAP!

As per the Airline authority all airlines departing post 20:00 hrs from 22-May-2008 will operate from the New Bangalore airport.

Thank you for bringing it to our notice. We have again notified all the customers of the new timings to whom the SMS was sent initially.

Yeah just got it. Thanks. There is a new twist (unfortunately). Just before this SMS from Cleartrip I got one from Indigo saying that 6E-152 is now scheduled to depart at 20:15 :)). I checked with Indigo once again – departure is from old airport.

Maybe you should determine by flight number rather than just the time?

Sandeep – Thank you for your suggestion. I would still advice you to call and check for the departing Terminal before you start your journey to the Airport.
