Cleartrip integrates with IndiGo

Mumbai - December 1, 2006 Cleartrip announced today that it has completed integration with low cost carrier, IndiGo’s reservation system. The integration makes IndiGo’s fares and seats available to Cleartrip’ customers. Cleartrip has integrated directly with IndiGo’s reservation system through an Application Programming Interface (API) which provides real–time access to up-to-the-minute fares and seat availability. Integration at this level eliminates scope for errors and results in accurate, fast transactions for the customers.

Addressing the significance of the integration to Cleartrip’s growth strategy, Sandeep Murthy, CEO, Cleartrip, said, “Keeping our focus on customer needs, we have completed integration with IndiGo, which is the second low cost carrier on our portal. We have leveraged our understanding of the technology that powers the travel industry and improved our customer’s experience by broadening the choice of airlines available within our air search. Going forward, we will continue to add airlines to our search, making it more comprehensive.”

Cleartrip, which launched in July, also offers flights on Jet Airways, Air Sahara, Air India, Indian, Kingfisher Airlines and SpiceJet.
