Stuart Crighton, Founder & Chief Executive Officer, is responsible for the overall profitability & performance of Cleartrip. He sets the strategy and direction for Cleartrip and ensures the scalability of the business model and growth of the business.
Prior to founding Cleartrip, Stuart worked with Abacus Distribution Systems, Asia’s leading GDS as Head, South and West Asia. He was responsible for all aspects of Abacus’s operation and strategy across India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal.
As Founder and Director, Hrush is responsible for the definition of Cleartrip’s corporate strategy and implementation of the website Cleartrip.com.
Hrush graduated from Lawrence University, Appleton, Wisconsin, with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Economics and History. Returning to India in 1998, Hrush worked with Plexus Technologies for a year, serving as lead designer and founding their ecommerce strategy practice. While at Plexus, Hrush also served as lead consultant for the launch of Indiatimes.com. In 1999, Hrush co-founded Paper Plane, a boutique consulting firm focussed on business strategy and design in the online space.
Hrush has had several firsts in the Indian market, including the first online air-ticket auctions and the first travel site to be integrated with a GDS for air ticket bookings.
Jae is responsible for Cleartrip’s corporate strategy, finance, M&A and overall business development. Prior to Cleartrip, Jae worked with J.P. Morgan in the US and Asia Pacific for 13 years focused on Technology and Mergers & Acquisitions, most recently serving as Co–Head of Asia Technology Investment Banking.
While at J.P. Morgan, Jae worked with leading, innovative technology companies across different geographies helping them to achieve their strategic and financial objectives. Jae graduated from Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois, with a Bachelor of Arts degrees in Economics and Mathematics, and a minor in Political Science.
As Chief Operating Officer, PKX Thomas oversees all operations and services of the company. He also ensures that the various business groups at Cleartrip are empowered with the right technology tools.
Thomas comes to Cleartrip with comprehensive experience in the field, spanning over 16 years. He specializes in Infrastructure Management and Knowledge Management. Prior to joining Cleartrip, he spent three years as Head of Technology at Lionbridge. There, he managed the Application Development Group and directed the creation and evolution of a newly developed Global Infrastructure service. Before his stint at Lionbridge, Thomas was the founding CTO of Investment Research and Information Services (IRIS).
With over 17 years experience, Niraj has an outstanding track record as an individual who challenges the status quo through a deep understanding of the consumer-brand relationship. Niraj also brings with him a wealth of experience in the development of online brands. Niraj will be responsible for the entire marketing direction at Cleartrip.
In addition Niraj will work closely with the Leadership team as part of the core executive team helping to define strategy for the business. Prior to joining Cleartrip, Niraj was Head of Marketing (India, Middle East, South East Asia) at Monster.com. A graduate from IIT Kharagapur (Class of 93) with more than 17 years of work experience, Niraj has been integral to many popular campaigns viz: Monster - 'Caught in the wrong job?' and BPCL - 'MAK makes it possible'.
Maxy heads the portfolio of Finance, Legal, Secretarial, Internal Audit and Risk Control at Cleartrip. A seasoned professional with over 21 years of experience in the arena of Finance & Accounts, he is a Chartered Accountant by profession from the 1988 batch.
Maxy was associated with Grand Hyatt as Director of Finance prior to joining Cleartrip. Armed with Bachelor in General. Law and PGDBM in Finance , Maxy has worked in numerous reputed companies like Kuoni Travel India Pvt. Ltd. (as Vice President-Finance) and Thomas Cook India Limited (as Chief Accountant for 5 years) besides Hoechst, Kodak and Cadburys.
