Shakespeare's Globe consists of the reconstructed Globe Theatre, which burned down in 1613, was immediately rebuilt, and was then angrily closed by the Puritans in 1642. It also contains interesting exhibits on Elizabethan London and the goliath struggle by actor Sam Wanamaker to get the theatre rebuilt.
