Tasik Merimbun, also known as Merimbun Heritage Park, is 27km (16.7mi) inland from Tutong, and contains Brunei's largest lake. It's a pretty, tranquil spot surrounded by forest where you might see monkeys and birds. Wooden walkways lead around the lakeshore to picnic pavilions and the picturesque, swampy lake has an island in the middle.
