This magnificent national park on the western bank of the Niger gets its unusual name from the double bend in the river at the park's northern border. It straddles three countries: Niger, Benin and Burkina Faso. Wildlife is scarcer here than in east or southern Africa, but you'll see a variety of animals, including many bird species between February and May.
