Chennai is known for its handicraft products, especially in jute, metal and stone. In handlooms, it is especially famous for its kanjeevaram silk saris that are freely available in sari shops across the city. Handicraft and handloom items, bell metal, bronze items and stone sculptures can be picked up at Cottage Emporium and Poompuhar Emporium located at Anna Salai. There is also a whole range of craft shops along Mount Road such as the Victoria Technical Institute where one can buy hand-made cloth and batik greeting cards. One can also purchase kanjeevaram saris at T. Nagar. Electronic goods, textiles and ready-made garments can also be found at Burma Bazaar.
